We’re growing our T&D Power Systems Studies team in APAC and are looking for experienced Power Systems Engineers with strong EMT/PSCAD capabilities to join us at AFRY.
As power systems evolve with increasing renewable integration, inverter-based resources, and HVDC interconnections, the need for advanced EMT studies and dynamic system analysis is growing rapidly. We’re looking for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges and working on impactful projects across the energy transition space.
What we’re looking for:
Minimum 3 years of experience in power system studies
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
· Hands-on experience with EMT simulations in PSCAD
· Knowledge and experience in other software simulation tools is a plus
· Experience in automating PSCAD using python scripting, multiple runs, etc.
· Project experience in areas such as:
· Grid integration studies for renewables
· Connection studies
· Wide-area power system modelling and analysis in PSCAD
· HVDC studies and converter-based technologies
