Job description
Position - Power System and Data base analyst for EMS System
Location – Middle East
Qualification - BE Electrical/ M Tech Power Systems/ PhD in Power/Energy Systems
Experience - 5/10/20 years (depending upon the qualification)
The power system and database specialist are expected to have sufficient knowledge about the
1. EMS Systems
2. SCADA data and databases
3. Power system equipment databases
4. Basic power system analysis software like load flow analysis and state estimation
5. Basic understanding of power system operations
Role is to perform /Assist Power Systems expert in tuning and correcting databases at Energy management control centres for Power Systems operations and work with the power system expert and the utility engineer to resolve the problems related to EMS applications. Prior experience with GE EMS System (E-terra).
Location of work – mainly at control centres, and occasional filed visits, to coordinate with the other team members to get the data, as required
Language at the work place - English
