Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Power Supply Design Engineer located in Hyderabad. The role involves designing and developing power supply systems, leveraging expertise in electrical and mechanical engineering to create MIL-grade DC-DC converters. Daily tasks include collaborating on product design, using computer-aided design (CAD) tools, conducting prototypes and testing, and ensuring compliance with military standards. The engineer will actively contribute to solving challenges in rugged environments, enabling reliable performance for mission-critical defense and aerospace applications.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Design Engineering for power supply systems
- Proficiency in Electrical Engineering concepts and applications
- Experience with Product Design and development processes
- Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering related to rugged electronic components
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to create and optimize designs
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to innovate in high-pressure scenarios
- Understanding of MIL standards such as MIL-STD-1275, 704, 461, and 810
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Prior experience in defense or aerospace projects is an added advantage
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
