Job Title: Power Electronics Hardware Engineer
Location: Surat, Gujarat
Experience Required: 4+ Years
Compensation: ₹7 LPA – ₹16 LPA (based on experience and expertise)
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Power Electronics Design & PCB Design Engineer with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and validating power electronic systems. The ideal candidate should have successfully completed and demonstrated at least two end-to-end projects in power electronics and PCB design.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop power electronic circuits (AC-DC, DC-DC converters, inverters, SMPS, etc.)
- Perform schematic design, simulation, and validation of power electronics systems
- Design multilayer PCBs, including component placement, routing, and optimization for thermal and EMI/EMC performance
- Prototype development, testing, debugging, and performance validation
- Ensure compliance with safety, reliability, and regulatory standards
- Work closely with firmware, mechanical, and production teams for product development
- Prepare technical documentation including design reports, BOM, and test procedures
Required Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in power electronics and PCB design
- Proven track record of at least two successfully completed and demonstrated projects
- Strong understanding of power electronics topologies and control techniques
- Proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, or similar)
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC, thermal management, and component selection
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscope, power analyzer, etc.)
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills
Preferred Skills- Experience in high-power or high-frequency design
- Familiarity with embedded systems or firmware integration
- Knowledge of industry standards and certifications
