Role Description
We are hiring experienced Power BI Testers for a leading MNC project. Candidates should have strong expertise in Power BI dashboard testing, SQL validation, ETL testing, and data warehouse testing. The ideal candidate should be capable of validating reports, dashboards, KPIs, and ensuring data accuracy between source systems and BI reports.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in Power BI Testing and BI report validation
- Experience testing Power BI dashboards, reports, KPIs, charts, filters, drill-through, and visualizations
- Strong knowledge of SQL queries for backend data validation and reconciliation
- Experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse Testing concepts
- Ability to validate data accuracy between source systems and Power BI reports
- Experience performing Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, SIT, and UAT
- Knowledge of Data Mapping, Data Migration, and Data Integrity validation
- Experience working with large datasets and identifying data inconsistencies
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or ALM
- Ability to create Test Cases, Test Scenarios, Test Plans, RTM, and Test Execution Reports
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in sprint activities
- Experience validating report performance, responsiveness, and usability
- Knowledge of DAX basics and Power BI data models is an added advantage
- Exposure to Cloud/Data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, SSIS, or ADF preferred
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate with developers, business analysts, and client stakeholders
- Experience working in enterprise/MNC environments preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup and meet project timelines
