Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI professional with strong expertise in data modeling, DAX, analytics, and Excel-based reporting. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable semantic models, developing high-quality reports, and enabling business insights using Power BI, Excel, and modern data platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Power BI Development & Reporting
· Design and develop interactive Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements
· Optimize report performance and usability with best practices
· Implement effective visual storytelling and user experience

Data Modeling (Core Skill)
· Design and build robust semantic models in Power BI
· Develop and maintain: o Fact & Dimension tables o Star / Snowflake schemas o Table relationships (1:N, many-to-many, bi-directional)
· Implement advanced concepts: o Incremental data loads o Partitioning strategies for large datasets o Aggregations and model optimization
· Ensure model scalability, performance, and maintainability

DAX & Business Logic
· Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and tables
· Implement business KPIs, time intelligence, and advanced analytics logic
· Troubleshoot and optimize DAX queries for performance

Data Analytics & Insights
· Analyze data trends and provide actionable business insights
· Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks
· Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions
· Prepare reports and insights using both Power BI and Excel for business consumption

Excel Reporting (Important Requirement)
· Build business reports and dashboards using advanced Excel
· Use Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, and advanced formulas for data analysis
· Perform data extraction, transformation, and reconciliation using Excel
· Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis using Excel-based solutions
