Job Description: Power BI Reporting Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Business Intelligence solutions using Power BI, ensuring data accuracy, visual clarity, and actionable insights for business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Connect and integrate data from various sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, Databases, etc.) into Power BI.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and reporting solutions.
- Optimize dashboards for performance and usability.
- Create data models, DAX calculations, and measures.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and validation across reports.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and IT teams to enhance reporting capabilities.
- Implement row-level security (RLS) and configure data refresh schedules.
- Troubleshoot Power BI issues and optimize queries for better performance.
- Maintain documentation for dashboards, data flows, and data models.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working as a Power BI Developer or in a similar BI role.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX functions.
- Experience with SQL and working with relational databases.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL concepts, and best practices.
- Ability to design visually appealing dashboards with strong attention to detail.
- Experience integrating Power BI with sources like Azure, SharePoint, Excel, APIs, etc.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Working Hours : The Ideal Candidate will have to provide 4hrs of support (2hrs is flexible) 2hrs need to available in evening between (6pm IST - 10pm IST for standup call & collaboration within team mandatory).
