We are seeking a seasoned BI Lead to oversee and evolve the organization-wide Business Intelligence landscape. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in Power BI, Qlik, and a strong foundation in database management and BI architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making across departments by ensuring robust, stable, and insightful BI solutions.
Role - Power BI Lead
Duration - 6 Months + Possible Extension
Location – 100% Onsite
Capacity – 5 Days/week, 8 Hours/day
Location-Noida, India
Responsibilities
- BI Strategy & Governance:
- Define and execute the BI strategy aligned with business goals.
- Establish standards for data visualization, reporting, and analytics governance.
- Platform & Tool Management:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of dashboards and reports using Power BI and Qlik.
- Manage and optimize BI environments hosted on Azure, including Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Data Architecture & Integration:
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to design scalable data models and pipelines.
- Contribute to the overall BI architecture, including data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL processes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Engage with business units to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Provide training and support to users on BI tools and data literacy.
- Team Leadership:
- Mentor junior BI developers and analysts.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in BI practices.
Required Skills
- 10-12 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Power BI and Qlik , other BI tools, dashboard creation, DAX, scripting, and data modelling.
- Strong understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and data querying.
- Exposure to BI architecture concepts – data lakes, data warehouses, ETL, and semantic layers.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with other Azure services like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Purview.
- Familiarity with data governance, data quality frameworks, and metadata management.
Desirable experience
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and project management tools.
