Job Title: Senior Power BI Developer
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
Type: Full Time
Our client is looking for a Senior Power BI Developer to drive impactful data visualization and analytics solutions that support digital transformation initiatives. This role plays a critical part in delivering insights that enable better decision-making across operations and business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of advanced Power BI dashboards and reports that provide meaningful, actionable insights
- Translate complex datasets into compelling visual stories that support business decisions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored analytics solutions
- Build and maintain robust data models to enhance reporting and analytical capabilities
- Develop advanced DAX calculations for sophisticated reporting needs
- Integrate Power BI solutions with broader digital platforms using Microsoft Azure technologies
- Optimize Power BI Server performance and ensure scalability of reporting solutions
- Support and enhance existing BI solutions in line with evolving business needs
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product and UX teams, to deliver user-centric solutions
- Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in Power BI development
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve data capabilities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, IT, or a related field
- 4–6 years of professional experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on expertise with Power BI and related tools (Power Platform, Power Apps, etc.)
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, and Azure SQL
- Advanced skills in DAX, data modeling, and SQL query optimization
- Familiarity with Microsoft AI tools (e.g., Copilot) and their application in business intelligence
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and impactful way to non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree, ideally in Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field
- Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry or supply chain environments
- Exposure to implementing AI-driven tools such as Microsoft Copilot within BI solutions
- Relevant Microsoft certifications in data analytics or business intelligence
- Experience with Power Automate and Power Platform Server
