Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets
- Build and optimize DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs
- Create and manage Power Query (M) transformations
- Develop and maintain data models (star / snowflake schemas)
- Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc.)
- Optimize report performance using best practices
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage user access
- Publish and maintain reports in Power BI Service
- Schedule data refreshes and monitor failures
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business users
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance
- Document reports, data models, and business logic
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop & Power BI Service
- Advanced knowledge of DAX
- Strong experience with Power Query (M language)
- Proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, CTEs, performance tuning)
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Experience with large datasets and performance optimization
- Knowledge of data modeling best practices
- Experience with Excel and flat file data sources
Qualifications

- Relevant Power BI certifications
