Role Description The Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that support business decision-making. This full-time remote role includes developing robust data models, integrating data from multiple sources, and optimizing queries for performance and reliability. The developer will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security. Day-to-day tasks involve implementing ETL processes, working with data warehousing concepts, performing in-depth data analysis, and documenting solutions and best practices. The role also includes troubleshooting issues, improving existing reports, and partnering with other data and engineering teams to enhance the overall analytics ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Data Modeling and Dashboard design within Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills and experience with Data Warehousing concepts and architectures.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools for data integration and automation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in SQL and familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Azure, Snowflake, or similar environments.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of BI best practices, data visualization principles, and performance optimization techniques.
- Candidates should possess strong communication skills, the ability to work independently in a remote setting, and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView, Domo), scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python), and exposure to AI or advanced analytics is beneficial.
