Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Power BI Developer at Office Solution AI Labs. The Power BI Developer will design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that support data-driven decision-making for global clients. Daily responsibilities include gathering requirements, modeling data, building efficient data pipelines, and optimizing datasets and visuals for performance and usability. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to translate business needs into scalable BI solutions, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security. The Power BI Developer will also contribute to best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement of BI processes and standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Data Modeling and designing semantic layers for Power BI and other BI tools.
- Candidates should possess skills in building and maintaining Dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations for business users.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills for interpreting data, identifying trends, and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Candidates should possess experience in Data Warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and working with structured and semi-structured data.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, data integration, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency with Power BI (Desktop and Service), including DAX, Power Query, and row-level security is highly beneficial.
- Experience with SQL and at least one major cloud or data platform (such as Azure, Snowflake, or similar) is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
