Position: Power BI Developer
Location: Full remote
Duration: 6+ months
Mode of Interview: Video
• None of the candidates we sent looked WOW. They will review again and let me know if there is anyone they will consider however we need to do a Power BI/SQL Assessment for all candidates moving forward before they interview.
• understanding of SQL and relational databases, including joining tables and fetching data for reports.
• Ideally 3-5 years’ experience in powerbi/sql
• Clarity is a plus
REQUIRED SKILLS

Data & Database Development
• Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures against relational databases.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from enterprise systems into reporting-ready datasets.
• Work with structured data models including star and snowflake schemas.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and performance optimization.
Power BI Development
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Build robust data models using DAX calculations, measures, KPIs, and hierarchies.
• Implement row-level security (RLS) where appropriate.
• Optimize report performance and usability for business stakeholders.
• Publish and manage reports within Power BI Service environments.
Clarity PPM Reporting (Preferred)
• Develop reports using data sourced from the Clarity PPM Data Warehouse.
• Understand Clarity objects including:
• Projects
• Investments
• Resources & Roles
• Allocations
• Timesheets
• Financials
• Translate PMO reporting requirements into scalable Power BI solutions.
• Support portfolio capacity, demand, and resource forecasting reporting.
