Job Description – Power BI Analyst

About The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled
Power BI Analyst with strong expertise in
Microsoft Fabric and
ETL engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with data pipelines, modeling, and visualization to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Build and manage ETL pipelines using Fabric, Dataflows, and other data engineering tools.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
- Optimize data models for performance and usability.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity across all reporting layers.
- Develop reusable datasets, semantic models, and dataflows within Microsoft Fabric.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business Units.
- Troubleshoot report issues and perform root cause analyses.
- Stay updated with the latest features in Power BI, Fabric, and modern analytics platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Power BI Analyst or similar BI role.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Data Engineering, Data Factory, and Lakehouse components.
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data modeling, and transformation logic.
- Experience in SQL and relational database systems.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake models, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure technologies (Synapse, Data Lake, Data Factory, etc.).
- Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for data transformations.
- Certification in Power BI, Azure, or related data technologies.
