Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Poultry Sales Executive role based in Namakkal. The Poultry Sales Executive will manage and grow sales of Dovoy’s poultry and animal health solutions by regularly visiting poultry farms, feed mills, distributors, and dealers in the region. Daily responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, promoting relevant products, conducting product demonstrations, and providing basic technical guidance to customers in poultry and livestock operations. The role involves achieving sales targets, managing orders, following up on payments, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and market activities. The individual will also gather market intelligence, support marketing initiatives, coordinate with technical and supply chain teams, and prepare periodic sales reports.
Qualifications
- Practical knowledge and experience in Poultry operations, including broiler and layer management, feed usage, and poultry health.
- Background or exposure to Agriculture and Farms, with an understanding of field conditions and rural/agri-business dynamics.
- Familiarity with Livestock and Animal Husbandry practices, particularly in commercial farm environments.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills, with a target-driven and result-oriented approach.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Animal Science, or a related life science field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in poultry/animal health/feed or agri-input sales is an advantage; motivated freshers with relevant background may also be considered.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English and local languages, prepare basic reports, and use mobile/desktop tools for documentation.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the Namakkal region and surrounding areas and to work closely with farmers, dealers, and distributors.
