Summary/Objective
The Operations Projects Manager – Facilities is responsible for driving operational excellence across facilities processes, with a focus on inventory management, vendor management, and procurement. This role serves as the process owner for key operational functions, ensuring consistency, scalability, compliance, and continuous improvement across all locations.
This is a manager-level role focused on process ownership rather than direct people leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, project management expertise, and the ability to translate operational strategy into standardized, scalable execution.
Essential Functions
Process Ownership & Governance
- Own and manage end-to-end facilities operational processes, including inventory lifecycle, procurement workflows, and vendor management frameworks.
- Establish, maintain, and govern Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance across all sites.
- Drive lifecycle control of processes, ensuring proper documentation, versioning, and adherence to governance standards.
Inventory, Procurement & Vendor Management
- Oversee inventory strategy, controls, and optimization to ensure accuracy, availability, and cost efficiency.
- Manage vendor selection, performance, and relationships to meet service level expectations and cost targets.
- Lead procurement processes, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and financial objectives.
Audit, Compliance & Safety
- Own and lead audit programs, including 6S, safety, OSHA compliance, and associate certification tracking.
- Ensure all facilities meet regulatory and internal compliance standards.
- Develop corrective action plans and drive resolution of audit findings.
Project Management & Scaling Operations
- Act as a project manager for operational readiness, ensuring facilities processes are scalable for new locations.
- Partner cross-functionally to support site launches, expansions, and operational transitions.
- Validate and formally sign off on operational readiness, efficiency, and compliance prior to scaling.

Required Education and Experience
- Proven experience in operations, facilities management, or a related field with strong emphasis on process ownership.
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, procurement, and vendor management.
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks including safety standards, OSHA, and audit practices (e.g., 6S).
- Advanced project management skills with experience supporting multi-site or scalable operations.
- High business acumen with the ability to balance operational effectiveness and financial performance.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience developing and managing SOPs, governance models, and continuous improvement programs.
