About the role
As a Software Engineer on the API Platform team, you'll have the opportunity to build and scale Postman's core API infrastructure and services. You'll work closely with our API product teams to build secure, scalable, and highly available services to power Postman's API solutions. This is a key role for ensuring the reliability and performance of Postman's API offerings.
What you'll do:
- Design, build, and maintain core API services and infrastructure
- Implement scalable and secure APIs using modern development practices
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver new API capabilities and features
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and operational issues
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide incident response
- Drive initiatives to improve reliability, scalability, and observability of our API platform
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
