📢 Hiring Post-Doctoral Fellows at IIT Gandhinagar!
I am excited to announce that we are currently looking to fill two Post-Doctoral Fellow positions in the Electrical Engineering department at IIT Gandhinagar. We are establishing a new research program focused on next-generation wireless systems, starting with building Integrated Sensing and Communication Systems.
This is an excellent opportunity if you are passionate about bridging theoretical signal processing with the development of real-world hardware prototypes!
📌Key Details:
- Positions: Post-Doctoral Fellow (2 openings)
- Remuneration: ₹72,000/- to ₹84,000/- per month
- Duration: 1 year (extendable based on satisfactory performance)
- Deadline: July 31, 2026
🎯 Who We Are Looking For:
- Candidates with a Ph.D. (thesis submitted/defended/degree awarded) in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics, or relevant areas.
- A strong academic record (Minimum 60% from graduation onwards, and 55% in Class X and XII).
- Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following: Wireless Communications and Networks, Digital Signal Processing, Software Defined Radio-based Wireless Systems Design, or RF and High-frequency Circuit Design.
💡 Desirable Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Software Defined Radios (such as USRPs), RF testing tools (spectrum analyzers, VNAs), or RF circuit fabrication and verification.
- Strong programming background (MATLAB, Python, C++) or experience with microcontrollers/embedded systems.
- A solid foundation in Antenna Theory.
🚀 What You Will Do:
You will be instrumental in setting up a new research program that combines theoretical concepts with physical prototyping. Depending on your specific expertise and interests, your role can lean more heavily toward theoretical modeling, hardware development, or a balanced mix of both. You will also take a lead role in writing research papers and driving IP development.
