Role Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Java) to join our core engineering team and take ownership of mission-critical backend services that power our product. You will architect and develop scalable microservices in Java (Spring Boot), and drive engineering excellence across the team. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role suited for an engineer who thinks beyond code - and thinks in systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6 - 10 years of total experience with 5+ years of strong hands-on Java development.
- Deep mastery of Java 17+ features including Streams, Lambdas, Optional, and Concurrency.
- Strong expertise in the Spring ecosystem: Spring Boot, Spring Security with OAuth 2, SpringData JPA, and Spring Cloud.
- Proven experience designing and deploying microservices architecture with Kubernetes.
- Strong foundation in solution design and system architecture, with hands-on experienceapplying design patterns, scalable product engineering principles, and clean architecturalpractices in enterprise/product-based applications.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), including strong SQL andquery optimization.
- Working knowledge of Angular 17+, ability to read, understand, and contribute to Angularcomponents, services, and HTTP modules.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
