Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Executive with 1 to 2 years of experience to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering end-user support, maintaining hardware and software assets, managing user access, and contributing to smooth IT operations. Familiarity with both macOS and Windows platforms is essential.

Key Responsibilities: User Support & Helpdesk

  • Provide first-level technical support to internal users via ticketing systems, email, or in person
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, printing, and network-related issues for macOS and Windows systems
  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff as needed
  • Maintain a customer-first attitude with prompt, courteous support

Device & Asset Management

  • Provision, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, and peripherals
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory and tagging records
  • Support regular audits of IT equipment and assist with asset recovery during offboarding

Onboarding / Offboarding

  • Set up user accounts, email IDs, and access rights for new joiners using tools like Okta, Google Workspace, etc.
  • Install and configure required applications on new devices
  • Ensure proper collection and deactivation of IT assets during employee offboarding
  • Remove user access across systems and ensure data backup/retention compliance

Access Provisioning & De-provisioning

  • Grant access to tools, folders, and systems based on predefined access policies
  • Perform regular audits to verify correct access levels
  • Support password resets, MFA setup, and account recovery as needed

System & Platform Support

  • Support installation, updates, and troubleshooting of macOS and Windows operating systems
  • Perform basic configuration of system preferences, applications, and user profiles
  • Ensure endpoint security software is running and updated

Network & Collaboration Tools

  • Assist users with connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, basic LAN problems)
  • Provide support for conferencing and communication tools like Zoom, Slack, MS Teams, Google Meet, etc.

Documentation & Knowledge Base

  • Maintain records of resolved incidents and recurring problems
  • Contribute to internal knowledge base articles and IT guides for common issues
  • Update SOPs related to onboarding, access, and troubleshooting

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience in an IT Support or Helpdesk role
  • Working knowledge of both macOS and Windows operating systems
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Familiarity with identity and access tools like Google Workspace, Okta
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn

Nice To Have (Good Bonus Skills)

  • Exposure to MDM tools like Jamf, Intune, or Kandji
  • Basic scripting (Bash, PowerShell) or automation experience
  • Experience with IT asset management tools (e.g., Snipe-IT)
