Role Description
This is a remote contract role for a Portuguese Legal Translator. The translator will handle translations of legal documents, ensure accurate legal terminology usage, and maintain confidentiality. Responsibilities will include converting legal texts between Portuguese and English, preparing legal documents, and ensuring compliance with legal standards and contexts. Attention to detail and diligent adherence to deadlines is essential.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English with strong Translation and Legal Translation skills
- Knowledge of Law, including legal systems and regulations relevant to the documents being translated
- Experience in Legal Document Preparation and ensuring compliance with legal standards
- Strong understanding and correct usage of Legal Terminology
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Prior experience in legal translation projects is a significant advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Law, or related fields
