Role Description
This is a remote contract role for a Portuguese Language Tutor. The tutor will be responsible for conducting 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions to support students in learning Portuguese. Day-to-day tasks include creating engaging lesson plans, adapting to individual learning needs, and providing feedback to improve students' language proficiency. Tutors should foster an interactive and positive learning environment and communicate effectively with learners of different age groups and skill levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and personalized Portuguese language sessions
- Support students across levels (A1–C2 or equivalent)
- Help with grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation skills
- Assist with academic needs, exams, or practical language use
- Adapt teaching style based on student goals
