Job Summary
The
Portfolio Business Systems Analyst plays a vital role in supporting customers through technology. The primary focus of this role is to collaborate with business and IT to implement system solutions that address complex problems, drive solutions, and enable data-driven decision making.
Our Portfolio Tools Administrator supports business and IT delivery teams (product managers/owners, engineers, scrum masters, analysts) through the use of tools such as Apptio Targetprocess, Jira, and Confluence.
Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- User support such as provisioning, training, and troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Developing and maintaining documentation related to tool administration and processes, including user self-service resources
- Delivering new and enhanced system capabilities through requirements gathering, impact analysis, configuration, custom coding, testing and validation
- Working directly with vendors to ensure system stability and deliver vendor supported solutions
Tasks and projects could be small or large, varying in complexity.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, India is a requirement of the role.
Mode of Working: This role follows a hybrid work model, with a primary base in Bengaluru. While on-site presence is essential for key engagements, flexibility is offered for remote work based on business needs and team alignment.
Education
Skills and Background You’ll Need
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Experience
- 3-6 years progressively responsible experience as an Atlassian Global Administrator responsible for installing, configuring, enhancing and maintaining Atlassian platforms and Atlassian Marketplace Add-Ons in an environment with >1,000 users and >100 projects.
- Strong understanding of JQL (Jira Query Language), Jira workflows, permission management, notifications, custom fields, custom workflows and dashboards is required.
- 2-4 years progressively responsible experience in administration of Apptio Targetprocess or similar portfolio management tools is preferred.
- Experience configuring and supporting integrations with other tools and systems is preferred.
- Understanding of workflows, permission management, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, end user support and training
- Moderate/Advanced proficiency in two or more of the following: Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Principals and Practices, Lean methodology, Agile methodology, Microsoft Excel, database querying applications such as SQL Server and TOAD, VBA, GIS, XML and HTML.
- Active listening skills and a willingness to collaborate with teammates and internal customers is a must.
