Role Description This full-time Pool Attendant role is an on-site position based in Indore. The Pool Attendant will oversee daily pool operations, including monitoring pool area cleanliness, setting up and organizing loungers, towels, and amenities, and ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards. The role includes greeting guests, providing information on pool rules and available services, assisting with basic poolside service, and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department. The Pool Attendant will also support lifeguard staff, help manage poolside inventory, and contribute to a welcoming, relaxed, and safe environment for all guests.
Qualifications
- Strong guest service orientation, with the ability to interact courteously and professionally with a diverse range of guests.
- Basic knowledge of pool safety practices and hygiene standards; willingness to follow all health, safety, and hotel protocols.
- Good communication skills in English and local languages; ability to provide clear instructions and information to guests.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors for extended periods, set up poolside areas, and lift or move light equipment and supplies.
- Attention to detail for maintaining cleanliness, orderly poolside setups, and prompt reporting of any hazards or maintenance needs.
- Prior experience in hospitality, recreation, or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as per hotel operational requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in pool operations or safety is a plus.
