Description
Works under supervision of skilled and knowledgeable plumbers and learns installation, repairing and replacing of pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures to maintain the heating, water, gas and drainage systems.
Essential Functions:
- Assists in the installation and repairs of sinks , showers, toilets, water heaters, and related plumbing fixtures.
- Inspects and assists in the repairs of plumbing infrastructure including sprinklers, underground storm/ water supply/ sewer lines.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by their leader.
Requirements
- Good understanding of maintenance operations, all applicable OSHA rules and regulations.
- Hawaii Driver's license.
- Good health and have good eyesight and manual dexterity.
- Capable of full range of body movement.
- Able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Able to communicate in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school graduate, or the equivalent.
Work Schedule:
To Be Determined (19 Hours Per Week)
