Description
To provide an informative guided tour that is also entertaining, presented in a way that reflects the Center’s standard of excellence, and be able to train others to do the same.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists guests throughout the tour, answering questions whenever possible.
- Prepares canoes for guests prior to the arrival.
- Performs other job-related as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Able to safely push a canoe carrying 30 - 35 guests down the lagoon while giving the designated lecture.
- In good health and a voice that can endure up to four hours of speaking in any given time frame.
- Able to speak, read and write in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A high school graduate or the equivalent.
- Fluency in a foreign language.
