Key Responsibilities Of Polymer Engineer
- Strong knowledge of polymer-related raw materials and their applications
- In-depth understanding of the foam and molding manufacturing industry
- Work on material design, research development (RD) , and formulation improvement
- Drive process optimization to improve productivity and reduce defects
- Conduct testing, validation, and quality control activities
- Support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in sustainability initiatives related to materials and manufacturing
- Review design and manufacturing feasibility in coordination with the RD team
- Ensure first-time-right results and on-time product delivery
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams using strong technical and soft skills
Required Skills Qualifications
- 78 years of experience as a Polymer Engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Strong technical knowledge of polymer materials, foam processing, and molding techniques
- Experience in RD, quality assurance, and product lifecycle management
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight timelines
