The Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing the development of a comprehensive Portfolio Management System plus Orders and Executions Management Systems akin to industry leaders such as Enfusion, Bloomberg AIM, LSEG Tora. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial services technology, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex software projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end development of PMS & OEMS.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Design system architecture that ensures scalability, reliability, and security.
- Oversee the selection and integration of third-party APIs and services.
- Develop project timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines.
- Ensure the team follows best practices for software development, including code reviews and testing.
- Trouble-shoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Mentor and support the technical team to maximize productivity and professional growth.
- Coordinate with product management and other departments to align project goals with business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in PMS & OEMS projects.
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets and portfolio management processes.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, C++, or similar.
- Experience with large-scale system architecture and cloud-based technologies.
- Strong understanding of database systems, data integration, and data warehousing.
- Familiarity with financial software and platforms like Enfusion, Bloomberg AIM, LSEG Tora is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.

- Additional degrees in Finance, Financial Math
- Previous experience in hedge funds and investment banks
