Van Driver - Substitute

Provide transportation to designated students over scheduled routes and/or special excursions while enforcing rules, regulations, and laws to maintain safety of riders from departure to arrival locations. Ensure vehicle is in safe operating condition by performing regular maintenance checks, keeping vehicle clean and completing associated logs and reports.

Qualifications Ability to pass driver knowledge test given by district. Education High school diploma or equivalent Two hours of district training Desired Experience working with children with behavioral needs Requirements TB Test Clearance Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance Valid California Driver’s License and evidence of insurability DMV H-6 Form (Driving History) Drug Testing Clearance Lifting Assessment CPR/First aid certification within 6 months of employment Working Conditions: Environment Adaptability to various weather and road conditions; noise levels and disruptions
