Role Overview
We are seeking a Political Research Analyst with strong knowledge of Odisha’s local political landscape. The candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting political, social, and electoral data to support organizational strategy and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on Odisha’s political parties, leaders, and grassroots movements.
- Track electoral trends, voter behavior, and policy developments at district and state levels.
- Prepare analytical reports, briefs, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Engage with local communities, stakeholders, and field teams to collect qualitative insights.
- Monitor media, government releases, and public opinion related to Odisha politics.
- Provide timely updates and recommendations to leadership based on research findings.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Political Science, Public Policy, Sociology, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of Odisha’s political, cultural, and social dynamics.
- Prior experience in political research, journalism, or grassroots fieldwork preferred.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage district-level assignments.
- Proficiency in Odia language (spoken and written) is highly desirable.
