About the role
As a portfolio manager within our Long/Short Equities business, you will be responsible for managing, evaluating, and monitoring an investment portfolio and team. Specifically, you will:
Build and manage a discretionary long/short equity portfolio
Conduct ongoing fundamental research to support differentiated investment ideas
Build and maintain financial models to assess investment opportunities
Train, lead and direct multiple research analysts and/or associate portfolio managers
Construct, continually reevaluate and dynamically adjust a scaled portfolio that optimizes risk-adjusted returns
Comply with all risk and operational limits and policies, as agreed upon with firm management
Understand and live Point72's ethical decision-making approach and its compliance program[PP1]
