Role Description
This is a contract-based remote role for a Podcaster. The Podcaster will be responsible for creating, hosting, and producing engaging audio content focused on medical education. Core responsibilities include conducting interviews, researching relevant medical topics, scripting and recording episodes, and promoting podcast content through social media platforms. Collaboration with subject-matter experts and aligning content with OneMedicine’s mission will also be key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication and interviewing skills to engage effectively with diverse audiences and subject-matter experts.
- Proficient in writing, including the ability to script and structure cohesive, educational, and engaging podcast episodes.
- Ability to conduct thorough, accurate research to support podcast content and ensure reliability and factual accuracy.
- Experience with social media promotion to increase podcast reach and engagement with the target audience.
- Familiarity with podcast production tools and audio editing software is a plus.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to present complex medical topics in an informative and accessible manner.
- Background or experience in healthcare, medical education, or science communication is advantageous.
