About Waiipod
Waiipod is a digital media company built for the thinkers of this generation. We're launching a podcast in June 2026 and need someone to own it end to end.
The Role
You're the person who makes the podcast happen. From preproduction planning to YouTube distribution, you own the entire pipeline. The host shows up and performs everything else is on you.
What You'll Own
Pre-Production:
• Episode planning, structure and research
• Guest coordination, briefing and scheduling
• Script and question preparation
• Studio and equipment coordination
On Shoot Day:
• Manage shoot flow and timing
• Handle all logistics and last minute issues
• Ensure smooth technical execution
Post-Production & Distribution:
• Brief video editor on cuts and episode structure
• Write show notes, timestamps and episode descriptions
• Upload and fully optimize episodes on YouTube
• Manage YouTube channel titles, thumbnails briefs, SEO, tags, community posts
• Track analytics and report weekly performance
• Coordinate with social media team for short clip distribution
What We're Looking For
• 4+ years experience in podcast or video production
• Hands on YouTube channel management experience
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent written English for descriptions and show notes
• Someone who takes full ownership without supervision
• AI tool proficiency uses AI for research, scripting and workflow efficiency
• Experience in current affairs, startup culture, personal growth stories or interview format content
• Avid English podcast listener with exposure to both Indian and international shows you understand what makes a great podcast, not just how to produce one
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to confidently coordinate and manage guests
Bonus If You Have
• Basic video editing knowledge
• Understanding of YouTube SEO and growth strategies
