Role Overview
As our Podcast Producer, you will be the "architect" of our video and audio content. You’ll manage the end to end lifecycle of each episode from initial brainstorming and guest scouting to final mixing and multi platform distribution. You aren’t just hitting record; you’re shaping the voice and growth of our brand.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Production: Research trending topics, scout and book high-profile guests and draft compelling scripts/outlines.
Recording & Engineering: Direct recording sessions (remote or in-studio), ensuring high-fidelity audio and guiding hosts through "the best" takes.
Post-Production: Edit raw audio for pacing, clarity and narrative flow. Add sound design, intro/outros and ad placements.
Growth & Distribution: Write SEO-friendly show notes, manage RSS feeds (Spotify, Apple, etc.) and collaborate with marketing for social clips (video/audiograms).
1. Vision Execution & Personal Branding
The Founder’s Voice: Extract "content knowledge" from the Founder and refine it into a narrative that positions them as a thought leader in the Personal Growth and business space.
Gen Z Strategy: Bridge the generational gap. You know how to take expert knowledge and package it with the pacing, aesthetics and authenticity that Gen Z demands.
Brand Growth: Develop a consistent "look, feel and tone" across all digital touchpoints to build a cult following around the Founder’s insights.
2. Multi-Platform Strategy (YouTube, LinkedIn, IG)
YouTube Growth: Lead our YouTube strategy with a focus on retention editing, high CTR thumbnails and community engagement.
LinkedIn Authority: Convert podcast insights into "Knowledge Based" LinkedIn posts that drive professional networking and authority.
Short-Form Dominance: Oversee the creation of "Viral Clips" for Instagram and TikTok that act as high top of funnel entry points to the podcast.
3. Team Building & Operations
Set Up the Machine: You are responsible for the "Plan to Action" infrastructure. You will select the tech stack (DAWs, Project Management, AI tools) and set the workflow.
Recruit & Manage: You will hire and lead a specialized team from video editors and thumbnail designers to social media managers to ensure the engine runs 24/7.
4. End to End Production
Pre-Production: Research trending topics and high profile guests that align with the brand’s mission.
Recording: Direct sessions to ensure high fidelity video and audio, guiding the host to deliver their most impactful performance.
Post-Production Mastery: Oversee the final mix, ensuring every episode tells a story and delivers a clear "Personal Growth" takeaway for the audience.
5. Brand Positioning & PR Mastery
Market Differentiation: Define the "unique selling proposition" of the Founder’s brand. Where do we sit in the market and how do we beat the competition?
PR & Narrative: Act as the bridge to the press. Manage PR interactions, secure guest appearances on other major shows and ensure the brand is part of the cultural zeitgeist.
Personal Branding: Curate the Founder’s public image to ensure authority, trust and "cool factor."
6. Sales, Marketing & Distribution
The Distribution Machine: Own the end to end flow of content across YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram. You don't just post; you dominate.
Revenue Strategy: Figure out the "Sales" side integrate sponsorships, develop lead magnets for the Founder’s products/services and track ROI on content spend.
Growth Marketing: Run the playbooks for audience acquisition. Use organic "hooks" and paid strategies to scale the listener base exponentially.
7. Plan to Action: Team & Infrastructure
Team Architect: Recruit, hire and manage a high-performance "Squad" (Video Editors, SEO specialists, Thumbnail Designers and Social Managers).
Process Design: Set up the tech stack and production sprints so the "Founder Vision" moves from a brainstorm to a live video in record time.
What You’ll Need
Deep Digital Fluency: You don't just "use" social media; you understand the algorithms. You know why a video fails and how to fix it.
The "Gen Z" Lens: An intuitive understanding of modern content trends, memes and the shift toward raw, authentic storytelling.
Leadership Experience: 4+ years in media production with experience hiring and managing creative talent.
Technical Excellence: Mastery of video first podcasting tools (Adobe Premiere, Riverside, Descript and AI-assisted workflow tools).
Strategic Mindset: You are a "big picture" thinker who can also get into the weeds of a YouTube title or a LinkedIn hook.
Analytics: Track listener data and engagement metrics to iterate and improve show performance.
Storytelling: A "good ear" for narrative structure and a knack for making complex topics accessible.
Project Management: Ability to manage production calendars and meet strict deadlines without breaking a sweat.
Bonus: Experience with video podcasting (Premiere Pro/CapCut) and AI-assisted production tools.
