Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and talented Full Stack Developer Intern who can hit the ground running. If you are passionate about building seamless, responsive applications—whether it's crafting sleek front-end user interfaces or integrating powerful backend services—we'd love to work with you. As a Full Stack Developer Intern, you'll play a critical role in building and scaling our product in a microservice-based architecture, working directly with the founding team and taking ownership across the stack. You'll have the opportunity to experiment, learn, and be at the forefront of technology advancements in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Kotlin-based Android applications from concept to deployment Design and implement backend microservices using Kotlin and Spring Boot Build intuitive, responsive, and accessible UI components leveraging Android Views, Jetpack components, and layouts Integrate RESTful APIs to fetch, process, and present real-time data within the Android app Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code across both frontend and backend layers Connect the Android frontend with backend services and databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) via secure APIs Ensure robust inter-service communication and data flow within a microservices architecture Optimize app performance through effective use of asynchronous programming (Coroutines, Flow) Implement smooth animations and transitions to elevate user experience Manage version control and collaborative development workflows using Git and GitHub Stay updated with latest development trends and proactively drive technical improvements Requirements: Solid understanding of Android fundamentals—Activities, Fragments, ViewModels, and Lifecycle management Strong proficiency in Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles Experience in building and consuming REST APIs using libraries such as Retrofit Familiarity with Spring Boot for developing backend services in a microservices environment Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or MongoDB, including CRUD operations via repositories/APIs Proficiency with Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development Ability to work independently in a lean team and take end-to-end ownership of features
