Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Plumbing Supervisor located in Chennai. The Plumbing Supervisor will oversee and coordinate plumbing operations at project sites. Responsibilities include supervising plumbing installation and repair activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and managing project timelines. The role involves training and mentoring plumbing staff, inspecting completed work, and troubleshooting issues as needed. Additionally, the position requires effective collaboration with clients and team members to maintain high customer satisfaction.

🔧 Job Responsibilities:
• Supervise day-to-day plumbing activities at site
• Handle installation of water supply, drainage, and firefighting piping systems
• Read and execute drawings (plumbing & MEP) accurately
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and workers
• Ensure work quality as per standards and safety guidelines
• Monitor material usage and site progress
• Handle testing & commissioning of plumbing systems
• Maintain daily work reports and updates

👷 Requirements:
• Diploma / ITI in Plumbing / Mechanical (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years experience in plumbing works
• Good knowledge of piping systems (CPVC, UPVC, GI, HDPE)
• Ability to manage a team of plumbers
• Basic understanding of drawings and site execution
• Willing to travel or relocate based on project

Qualifications
- Experience in Plumbing systems and Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) processes
- preivous experience in industrial & commericial projects
- Strong Supervisory Skills with the ability to manage and mentor teams
- Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction expertise
- Knowledge of safety protocols and quality assurance in construction projects
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical diagrams is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Minimum of a diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
- Previous on-site experience in large-scale construction or industrial projects
- Certifications in MEP or plumbing are an advantage
