Role Description The Plumbing Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Patna. The Plumbing Designer will prepare detailed plumbing layouts and construction drawings for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day work includes coordinating with project engineers and architects, calculating pipe sizing and load requirements, and integrating plumbing systems with fire protection and HVAC designs. The role also involves reviewing design changes, supporting site teams with technical clarifications, and participating in quality checks to ensure functional, safe, and cost-effective designs.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Plumbing Design and Plumbing, with the ability to develop complete system layouts and specifications.
- Ability to read, create, and modify Construction Drawings for building services and infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of Fire Protection system design and integration with plumbing networks.
- Understanding of HVAC Design and coordination of plumbing with mechanical services.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety standards, and local regulations.
- Proficiency in CAD or similar design software used for plumbing and MEP layouts.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
