Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled BE/BTech Mechanical Engineer or BE/BTech Civil Engineer to join our team at Clancy Global Building Consultancy. As a Plumbing Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating detailed plumbing system designs, preparing plumbing construction documents, and collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the successful implementation of plumbing systems. You will also be involved in conducting site visits, evaluating existing plumbing systems, and providing technical support throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
· Designing and developing plumbing system layouts, including pipe sizing and equipment selection.
· Preparing detailed plumbing construction documents, such as plans, specifications, and material schedules.
· Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the successful implementation of plumbing systems.
· Conducting site visits to evaluate existing plumbing systems and identify potential issues or improvements.
· Providing technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the construction process.
· Staying up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to plumbing system design.
· Troubleshooting and resolving any plumbing system issues that arise during construction or operation.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Plumbing Design Engineer located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Responsibilities include designing plumbing systems for commercial and residential buildings, planning and developing water supply and sanitation systems, ensuring compliance with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) standards, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated building services. The role also involves preparing technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation, as well as conducting quality assessments of plumbing designs at developmental stages.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Plumbing Design and Water Supply systems
- Experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) and Building Services coordination
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance for plumbing systems
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Revit MEP or AutoCAD) and technical documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or a related field
- Experience in the construction industry or similar environments is an advantage
