Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Plumber role based in New Delhi. The Plumber will install, repair, and maintain piping systems, fixtures, valves, and related equipment for residential, commercial, or industrial projects. Daily tasks include diagnosing plumbing issues, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting leaks and blockages, and ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards. The role also involves collaborating with site supervisors and other trades, reading and interpreting drawings or layout plans, and documenting work completed. Providing clear communication to clients or stakeholders on issues, solutions, and preventive measures is a key part of the position.
Qualifications
- Strong plumbing skills, including installation, repair, and troubleshooting of water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.
- Hands-on experience working with pipes, fittings, fixtures, and tools used in plumbing and construction environments.
- Proficiency in maintenance and repair, with the ability to perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs.
- Customer service skills to communicate clearly, address concerns professionally, and maintain a respectful attitude on-site.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards, building codes, and compliance requirements for plumbing work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and work orders.
- Physical ability to work on-site, including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces, as required by the job.
- Prior experience as a plumber in infrastructure or construction projects; vocational training or certification in plumbing is preferred.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe, quality-focused workmanship.
