Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Plumber role based at Ramada by Wyndham Ghaziabad Vasundhara in Ghaziabad. The Plumber will install, inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems throughout the hotel, including water supply lines, drainage systems, sanitary fixtures, and related equipment. Daily responsibilities include responding to maintenance requests, troubleshooting leaks and clogs, replacing pipes and fittings, and ensuring that guest rooms, kitchens, and back-of-house areas have safe and reliable water and sanitation services. The role involves maintaining tools and materials, keeping accurate records of work performed, following safety and hygiene standards, and coordinating with the engineering and housekeeping teams to minimize disruption to guests. The Plumber is expected to provide courteous, timely support to guests and colleagues when plumbing issues arise.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in plumbing installation, troubleshooting, and repair for hotel or commercial facilities.
- Experience working with various pipe types, fittings, valves, and fixtures, including reading basic diagrams or layouts.
- Ability to perform routine and preventive maintenance and repair on plumbing systems to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Effective customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of relevant safety, hygiene, and basic local building/plumbing codes; ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Previous experience as a Plumber or maintenance technician in hospitality, residential, or commercial settings preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Ghaziabad, including flexible hours, weekends, or shifts as required by hotel operations.
- Basic literacy and numeracy; vocational certification or training in plumbing or a related trade is an advantage.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces.
