Role Description The Plumber role at Konark Fire Solutions Private Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, valves, and sanitary fittings in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Daily tasks include diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, ensuring proper water flow and drainage, and coordinating with the fire safety team to support integrated system requirements. The role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, adhering to safety standards and building codes, and documenting work performed. The Plumber also interacts with clients and site teams to explain work performed, schedule follow-up visits, and ensure minimal disruption during service.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong plumbing skills, including installation, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
- Candidates should possess practical experience with pipe fitting, jointing, cutting, and routing for various materials (e.g., PVC, GI, copper).
- Candidates should possess maintenance and repair skills, including preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and timely corrective actions.
- Candidates should possess customer service abilities, including clear communication on issues, professional behavior on-site, and responsiveness to client needs.
- Relevant vocational training or certification in plumbing or pipe fitting is preferred.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and sanitary standards is beneficial.
- Ability to work on construction sites, use hand and power tools safely, and follow company safety procedures.
- Prior experience in plumbing work for fire safety or industrial projects in New Delhi or similar environments is an advantage.
