Role Description
We are seeking a full-time PLC Programmer to join our team on-site at our Coimbatore location. The role involves designing, programming, testing, and troubleshooting PLC systems to optimize the performance of our advanced digital printing machinery. The PLC Programmer will collaborate with the engineering team to continuously enhance machine efficiency and ensure compliance with technical specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include programming PLCs, conducting equipment diagnostics, and providing technical support during installation and maintenance phases.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in PLC programming languages, such as Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, Structured Text, or similar.
- Hands-on experience in working with automated systems, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) development, and SCADA systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve control system issues efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of electrical schematics, control panel design, and industrial automation equipment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Experience in the printing machinery or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
- Familiarity with safety standards and industrial codes for equipment compliance is preferred.
