Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PLC Programmer role based in Pune City. The PLC Programmer will design, develop, and implement PLC logic and control programs for manufacturing automation projects on platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Mitsubishi, and other leading systems. Responsibilities include configuring and testing PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems, troubleshooting control system issues on the shop floor, and ensuring reliable integration with plant IT, reporting, and monitoring systems. The role involves collaborating with project engineers and clients to understand requirements, preparing technical documentation, and supporting commissioning and maintenance activities. The PLC Programmer will contribute to continuous improvement of control strategies, safety standards, and system performance across diverse industrial environments.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong PLC programming skills and experience with major platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Mitsubishi, ABB, or Fanuc Robot.
- Candidates should possess skills in SCADA and HMI configuration, including working with systems such as Ignition, Wonderware, and other industrial visualization tools.
- Candidates should possess abilities in industrial automation and control systems, including field instrumentation, drives, sensors, and integration of factory lines with intelligent systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and optimization of PLC and SCADA systems to ensure stable and efficient plant operations.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with manufacturing data reporting, analytics, and basic IT/OT integration concepts for plant-level applications.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret electrical and control schematics.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional engineering teams and interact with customers on-site.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related engineering field are beneficial.
