Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a PLC Programmer. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for programming PLC/DCS systems, designing and implementing SCADA/HMI interfaces, performing diagnostics and troubleshooting, and supporting on-site commissioning when needed. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and creating system documentation for various industrial applications.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in PLC and DCS programming for platforms such as Honeywell, Emerson, Rockwell, Schneider, Yokogawa, or Siemens
- Experience with SCADA/HMI system design, configuration, and implementation
- Strong skills in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolving control system issues
- Knowledge of field instrumentation, electrical detailing, SIL verification, and system migrations
- Familiarity with SPI In Tools, SP P&ID, and creating as-built documentation
- Strong understanding of industrial standards and safety regulations
- Relevant technical education or degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Control Engineering
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Experience in industries such as Oil & Gas, Power, Water, Pharmaceuticals, or Automotive is a plus
