Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a PLC programmer located in Ahmedabad. The role involves designing, programming, testing, and troubleshooting programmable logic controller (PLC) systems for automated machinery. Responsibilities include developing control system logic, integrating electronic and mechanical components, and ensuring the functionality and efficiency of the machinery. The role also requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and address technical challenges.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting with experience in programming languages such as Ladder Logic or Structured Text
- Strong understanding of electrical and control systems, including sensors, actuators, and communication protocols
- Experience in designing and maintaining automation systems for packaging machinery or similar industrial equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail in debugging and optimizing control systems
- Good communication skills for collaboration with technical teams and operators
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field is preferred
- Experience with HMI/SCADA programming and knowledge of safety systems is a plus
Required Skills:
• Hands-on experience in PLCs like Siemens / Delta / Mitsubishi / Inovance
• Knowledge of HMI, VFD, Servo systems
• Understanding of sensors, relays & industrial automation
• Ability to read electrical drawings
• Strong problem-solving & troubleshooting skills
