Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a PLC Programmer based in Devanahalli and Chennai, The PLC Programmer will be responsible for designing, programming, testing, and troubleshooting PLC and automation systems. Day-to-day tasks include developing control systems, modifying and optimizing existing programs, implementing Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of automated processes. The role involves working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure the highest level of operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram
- Hands-on experience with SCADA systems and HMI programming
- Strong understanding of automation systems, industrial sensors, and actuators
- Knowledge of troubleshooting and maintenance for automation systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering field
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, PROFIBUS, Ethernet/IP) is a plus
