PLC Programmer and Control Panel Wiring
Job Overview:
We’re looking for someone who can think in logic and work with their hands. This role covers PLC programming, control panel wiring, testing, and on-site commissioning. If you enjoy building systems that actually run machines, this is your lane.
Key Responsibilities:
1.PLC Programming:
- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs.
- Work with PLCs such as Siemens, Delta, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi (any one or more).
- Write ladder logic, function block, and basic structured text where needed.
- Integrate sensors, actuators, VFDs, HMIs, and safety devices.
- Perform IO mapping, debugging, and optimization.
- Maintain program backups and basic documentation.
2.Panel Wiring and Electrical Work:
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Wire control panels including PLCs, relays, SMPS, MCBs, contactors, VFDs, and terminals.
- Ensure proper cable routing, ferruling, labeling, and grounding.
- Test panels for continuity, short circuits, and correct IO behavior.
- Follow electrical safety and industrial wiring standards.
3.Commissioning and Support:
- Support machine installation and commissioning on site.
- Diagnose electrical and logic faults during trials.
- Coordinate with mechanical and production teams.
- Provide basic operator or maintenance guidance when required.
4.Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming.
- Strong understanding of control panel wiring
- Knowledge of industrial sensors, motors, and drives.
- Ability to read electrical drawings confidently.
- Logical troubleshooting mindset.
- Comfortable working on shop floor and sites.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- ITI with strong industrial experience can also be considered.
Experience:
- 1–4 years preferred.
- Freshers with strong practical skills and learning attitude may be considered.
Nice to Have:
- HMI development experience.
- Basic knowledge of industrial communication (Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP).
- Experience with machine automation or OEM environments.
