About the role
As a System Automation Engineer (PLC Engineer), you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our automation and control systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing processes. Your expertise in PLC programming and control systems will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality products to our customers.
Experience Required: 2-5 years
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation
Engineering or related field with relevant experience.

Primary Job Responsibilities
• Design, program, and configure PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems for the DAHS (Data Acquisition and Handling System) Software.
• Develop various HMI screens that align with client standards to facilitate seamless interaction with PLC systems.
• Create flowcharts and diagrams to visually illustrate the functionality and operation of PLC programs.
• Analyse system requirements to design and implement suitable PLC and HMI programs tailored to meet the specific needs of each system.
• Thoroughly test newly developed programs to ensure they meet design specifications and function as intended.
• Independently troubleshoot real-time programming errors in PLC logic to ensure system stability and performance.
• Provide remote support to customers by guiding them through troubleshooting procedures to address system issues effectively.
• Oversee and ensure the successful installation of PLC programs, collaborating with the installation team as needed.
• Offer technical support to clients, addressing inquiries and issues related to PLC and HMI systems.
• Provide guidance and support to Technicians working on PLC-related projects, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Prepare user-friendly documents and manuals to instruct end-users on how to operate and utilize PLC and HMI systems effectively.

Required Skills
• Proven PLC programming expertise, including ladder logic, SFC, and FBD, with the ability to modify code effectively.
• Exceptional logical reasoning for troubleshooting complex issues in PLC and HMI systems.
• Proficient in PLC hardware configuration and various communication protocols in industrial automation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders and able to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
• Self-motivated, team collaboration, and demonstrates a strong work ethic.
• Capable of handling various tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
