Summary
We are seeking a Behavior Technician to join our team at PLC Charter School @ Estrella Mountain. In this role, you will work closely with students to implement behavioral interventions and support their learning needs. Your contributions will be vital in helping students develop essential skills and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect and analyze data on student progress and behavioral changes.
- Assist in the development of strategies to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation as required.
- Provide support for students with disabilities in various educational settings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children, particularly those with behavioral challenges or disabilities.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques is essential.
- Strong data collection and analysis skills to monitor student progress.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and families.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is a plus.

Requirements
- Associates Degree or 60 College Credit Hours or ETS Para-ProTest preferred.
- Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Two years of experience working as a Teacher's Aide.
- ESS Experience preferred.
- Ability to build rapport with students.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
