Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a PLC Automation Engineer based in Kolkata. The responsibilities include developing, programming, and troubleshooting PLC systems for electrical panels, designing automation control systems, creating and interpreting electrical schematics, and integrating automation systems with other equipment and machinery. The position also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to project specifications and deadlines, conducting testing and commissioning activities, and providing technical support during installation and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems
- Experience with designing, developing, and troubleshooting automation control systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics
- Knowledge of Electrical Panel Layout Design and Power Distribution Systems
- Ability to work with automation tools and testing instruments
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field; relevant certifications in PLC/Automation are a plus
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines reliably
- Prior experience in the electrical panel manufacturing industry is an advantage
